Croatia Records Release Information

On 5 December 2019, Bajaga i Instruktori (Bajaga and the Instructors) celebrated their 35th anniversary, and on this occasion they held a concert for rock group, orchestra and choir in Belgrade’s Sava Center.

Their greatest hits were specially arranged for this occasion, while they were accompanied on stage by Belgrade soloists under the direction of conductor Vojkan Borisavljević, the AKUD choir Ivo Lola Ribar and the soprano and opera soloist Nataša Tasić Knežević. Croatia Records, in cooperation with PGP RTS, has released this concert on Blu-ray and double CD.

The eternal hits “Sa druge strane jastuka” (From the other Side of the Pillow, “442 do Beograda” (442 to Belgrade), “Zažmuri” (Close Your Eyes), “Dvadeseti vek” (Twentieth Century), “Život je nekad siv, nekad žut” (Life Is sometimes Gray, sometimes Yellow), “Plavi safir” (Blue Sapphire), “Moji drugovi” (My Friends), “Tišina” (Silence), as well as the more recent “Bilo bi lako” (It Would Be Easy), “Može da te ubije grom” (Lightning Can Kill You) and the other songs are perfectly integrated into the orchestrations and choral arrangements.

Accordingly, the celebration of 35 years of the legendary rockers’ career could not have had a richer sound image.
