Půlnoc (Midnight) was formed from the ruins of the then disbanded The Plastic People of the Universe in 1988. After five years, Půlnoc broke up in 2011 to commemorate the memory of its founder and composer Mejla Hlavsa.

The enthusiastic response from the public sent the band on tour again at the turn of 2011/2012 – and it was on this tour that a live recording was made, showing that Mejla Hlavsa’s songs have not aged even after 20 years, quite the opposite! The packed concert of almost 80 minutes presents all the key songs that sound as if they were written yesterday. In the encore you will also hear several songs that have not been recorded by Půlnoc before.
