Guerilla Records Release Information



To commemorate the work and life of Mejla Hlavsa, a personality who left a deep imprint on Czechoslovakian music and the guerrilla world of Labus, a memorial concert was held on 8 January 2011 in Prague’s Acropolis, featuring fellow musicians who accompanied Mejla in his various musical ensembles (Plastic People of the Universe, DG 307, Šílenství, Půlnoc...).

Filip Topol, Vraťa Brabenec and Joe Karafiát, Pavel Zajíček and DG 307, Jan Brabec played their compositions and the second half of the evening was filled with the renewed Půlnoc just for this moment. This recording contains all that, including a rich photo documentation of that evening.
