Ten hits, a pop rock retro ride

A compilation of recordings from the band’s most famous period, with an altered line-up still going strong. The ten songs on the LP are a reminder of the eighties, when a similar sound stormed the charts around the world. Also originally from Pilsen, Turbo have cleverly combined electric guitar riffage with period keyboard synth technology into a compact sound. But that wouldn’t be enough without strong melodies and catchy choruses, accompanied by lyrics with easy-to-sing slogans.

Singer and guitarist Richard Kybic as a composer and the proven lyricist Ladislav Vostárek, not only from Katapult, offered a number of songs with clear hit ambitions. Suitably mainstream rock for the TV and radio broadcasts of the time, experiencedly sovereign in concert, including the necessary juicy multivoices, also from the point of view of a positive group of musicians whose songs are still extremely popular among their fans.
