The band’s darkest recording: the band continued along a broodingly artistic line, achieving an almost mystical effect in the music with its sombre pathos and use of church music techniques, especially in the context and tension in which it was created, for the action of Asanace was in full swing.

For the first time, the recording is released completely as a double album on 180 gram vinyl, unlike all previous releases which contained only one record, the fold-out cover contains many unique photographs: from the recording sessions at Hrádeček, the concert in Kerhartice and a reprint of the original Canadian cover. Extensive photo documentation of the recording of “Koně” (Horses) (Hrádeček, photo by Aleš Havlíček, Abbe Libánský), the concert in Kerhartice (Ondřej Němec, Petr Prokeš) and “Souostroví Gulag” (The Gulag Archipelago) (Miroslav Vránek).

The sound is again from the Jámor studio of Ondřej Ježek and the original tapes by Robin Karl Popper. And as usual with our editions, there is also a reprint of the original Canadian edition.
