Guerilla Records Release Information



Almost 15 years have passed since the release of Live in 1997, during which time the band has undergone several major changes. The most important one was of course the death of its founder and until then exclusive author of the repertoire Mejla Hlavsa in 2001. However, the band decided to continue on and two years ago a new recording, “Mask behind the Mask”, was released, which had already been written by all members of the band and was highly appreciated by the public and critics.

Since a part of the repertoire still consists of songs from the band’s earlier periods, albeit performed with a different line-up, the band decided to capture their current performance face. The result is a collection that includes songs from the group’s earliest days (around the time of “Egon Bondy’s Happy Hearts Club Banned” from 1974), through the forgotten album “Líně s tebou spím” (I Sleep Lazily with You) from 2004 to their last opus from 2009.
