The album “Jazz Postcard”, on which Brano Likic sings twelve world jazz standards, was recorded in Prague and Grünwald, and was first released in 2009. Brano Likic is a well-known music producer from Bosnia and Hercegovina who during the 70s and 80s sang and played in the group Rezonansa and during produced Dino Merlins first albums.

At the urging of Duško Gojkovic, the world-famous jazz trumpeter, composer and producer, Brano Likic recorded a real jazz postcard with the help of the top instrumentalists Martin Ðakonovski on bass, Dejan Terzic on drums and Walter Lang on piano. This is precisely why this reissue has the new name “Jazz Postcard” by Gojkovic, Likic, Lang, Terzic, Djakonovski or by Brano Likic & Friends.

“With the departure of Duško Gojkovic, this album has even greater significance, and for me it is of inestimable value. Working with such a musical greatness and learning from him was an unforgettable privilege. This album is actually an “American songbook” in terms of content. For someone who is not of that origin, it was also the big challenge, that I would have had a hard time deciding on if it was not for Duško, who gave me enormous support. It is a great thing that we managed to save it from oblivion for generations to come, because there will no longer be an opportunity to meet and hear the team that collaborated on this project in one place. A rare and valuable album”, explained Brano Likic.
