The formation of Archaic goes back to 2004, with their debut album “Time Has Come to Envy the Dead” released in 2006. At the time, thrash metal was not a popular genre, but the album still managed to achieve some good results internationally.

After the initial momentum was interrupted by several member changes, the follow-up album “How much Blood Would You Shed To Stay Alive?” had to wait until 2017.

“The album was released in January 2018 as an attachment to the 300th Hungarian MetalHammer, and we got the title of the “Best Hungarian Album of 2017” and “Best Cover of 2017” for the Hungarian Metal Awards. Both domestic and international press received our record with an upsetting enthusiasm.

Impulsion, anger and aggression are felt in the disc, these are us.”

The twelve-track album contains ten songs, an intro and a cover version, and the cover artwork was done by Péter Sallai.
